Chapter 6 How to Operate Sampling Scope
6-80
Setting same vertical scale for multiple waveforms
The vertical scales at all channels can be set to the equal value using the
MP2110A-021, MP2110A-022, MP2110A-030, MP2110A-032,
MP2110A-039, MP2110A-040, MP2110A-042, and MP2110A-049.
1. Click Amplitude.
2. Click the Tracking button, and set to On.
3. Click the Scale, Offset, and Attenuation text boxes, and then set the
values.
Note:
When Tracking is set to On, the Scale, Offset, and Attenuation
values of other channels are also changed to the set values.
When Scale and Offset for Amplitude are set on the Quick Menu at
the right of the waveform display area, the scales and offsets of
other channels are also changed.
Adjusting attenuation of attenuator
When an attenuator is attached to the signal input connector of Scope, the
vertical axis scale can be corrected by the attenuation amount.
1. Click Amplitude.
2. Select a channel by clicking the channel button.
3. Click the Attenuation text box.
4. Input the attenuation.
The n dB attenuation is calculated by the following formula:
Electrical input:
20
10
n
Optical input:
