What to do if the Ateis IDA8C PSS AS is unable to connect by ATEIS Studio software?

  If the PSS-AS cannot connect via Ateis Studio software, first examine the information displayed on the Status Bar of the PSS-AS. Then, ensure the PSS-AS is connected with the audio processor in the configuration table. Verify that the RS485 protocol on the Machine Setting function is selected to the PSS/RWD AIO option and matches your installed port for PSS-AS. If the device or cables are broken, contact Ateis Local personnel.

Why is my Ateis Security System PSS-AS unable to connect by Ateis Studio?

  If the PSS-AS is unable to connect via Ateis Studio, check that the Power LED on PSS-AS lights up. Also, verify that the PSS-AS is connected to and powered by the external power supply (24VDC). Confirm that the CAT5 cable complies with the existing RJ45 connector on the IDA8 controller and is firmly connected. If the connection issue persists, the version of your Ateis studio may not match your PSS-AS.
