Field Description
When using the internal DSL modem, select here the EthoA in-
terface configured in Physical
Interfaces->ATM->Profiles->New, e.g. .
User Name Enter the user name.
Password Enter the password.
Always on Select whether the interface should always be activated.
The function is enabled with "1.
The function is disabled by default.
Only activate this option if you have Internet access with a flat-
rate charge.
Connection Idle
Timeout
Only if Always on is disabled.
Enter the idle interval in seconds. This determines how many
seconds should pass between sending the last traffic data pack-
et and clearing the connection.
Possible values are to & (seconds). deactivates the
timeout.
The default value is &.
Example: for FTP transmission, for LAN-to-LAN trans-
mission, for Internet connections.

Security Policy
Select the security settings to be used with the interface.
Possible values:
• * : All IP packets are allowed through except for
those which are explicitly prohibited..
• . (default value): Only those packets are transmit-
ted that can be attributed to a connection that has been initi-
