Specifying IP Addresses for Firewall Rules

You can either limit communication to only devices with specied IP addresses, or block devices with specied IP
addresses but permit other communications. You can specify a single IP address or a range of IP addresses. For data
reception, you can specify IP addresses by specifying port numbers.
Up to 16 IP addresses (or ranges of IP addresses) can be specied for both IPv4 and IPv6.
The maximum number of port numbers that can be specied for a single IP address is 50.
The packet lters described in this section control communications over TCP, UDP, and ICMP.

Start the Remote UI and log on in Management Mode. Starting Remote UI(P. 333)

Click [Settings/Registration].

Click [Security] [IP Address Filter].

Click [Edit] for the lter type that you want to use.
