REMOVAL
WARNING
Disengage the PTO, turn off the tractor engine
and remove the key. Wait for all movement to
stop before leaving operators position. Never
adjust, lubricate, clean or unplug machine with
the engine running. Failure to comply could
result in death or serious injury.
1. Loosen the locknut, 1, from the spring nut. Turn
the locknut away from the spring to allow the long
adjusting bolt to move freely in the spring nut.

2. Back out the adjusting bolt until it separates from
the spring nut and spring.

3. Remove the cotter and anchor pin at the bottom
hub, 1.
4. Remove the spacer, bushing and spring
assembly from the hub. The spring assembly is
now free of the machine.
