EVERY 200 HOURS
ROLL DRIVE GEARBOX
Fill to oil level plug, 1. (50 hours) Add oil by removing
breather plug, 3.
The roll drive gearbox oil should be changed after the
first 50 hours of use to remove any contaminants
from the break-in process. After this, change the oil
every 200 hours or yearly, whichever occurs first.
Drain oil by removing plug, 2. The gearbox holds 300
ml (10.5 oz.).
Maintain oil level using Case 135H EP (API GL5
80W90) gear oil or Case Gear Lube SSL (75W90
synthetic).
NOTE: Figure shows shielding removed for clarity.

EVERY 200 HOURS
CUTTER BAR MODULES
Module oil should be checked every 50 hours. Each
module must be checked.
DANGER
The header should be resting on the ground or
suspended in the transport position by the
header lift locks during lubrication or mainte-
nance. Failure to comply will result in death or
serious injury.
1. Remove dip stick, 1, wipe it clean.
2. Hold the dipstick firmly in place into the hole but
do not thread it in.

WARNING
Disengage the PTO, turn off the tractor engine
and remove the key. Wait for all movement to
stop before leaving operator’s position. Never
adjust, lubricate, clean or unplug machine with
the engine running. Failure to comply could
result in death or serious injury.
3. Remove the dipstick and observe the oil level.
The oil level is correct when it is anywhere within
the marked area at the end, 1, of the dipstick.
Maintain oil level using Case 135H EP (API GL5
80W90) gear oil or Case Gear Lube SSL (75W90
synthetic).
