UPPER CONDITIONER ROLL - REMOVAL
NOTE: The lower conditioner roll must be removed
before the upper conditioner roll can be removed
(refer to “Lower Conditioner Roll - Removal”).
1. Remove the drive shaft from the left side of the
upper conditioner roll by removing the two clamp
bolts, 1, and nuts at the end of the drive shaft.
Slide the yoke off of the upper conditioner roll
shaft and remove the drive shaft from the unit.

2. The right side pivot arm, 1, must be removed in
order to remove the roll. Start by removing the roll
gap bolt, 2, by removing the nut, 3, on the bottom
of the bolt.

3. Raise the lock plate, 1, and swing it to the side.
Lift the adjusting nut, 2, and bolt out of the
header.
