Rubber Rolls
Where the rubber rolls mesh, all the lugs should be
evenly spaced between the lugs of the opposing roll.

Steel Rolls
When the steel rolls mesh, the rail of one roll should
be centered between two rails of the opposing roll.
Occasionally check the rolls for proper timing. The
lug of one roll should be centered between the two
lugs of the opposite roll. The lugs must not touch.

To reset the timing, loosen the four 1/2″ cap screws,
1, on the top roll drive yoke flange. Then center the
top roll lug in the bottom roll lug gap while applying
hand force on the lower roll in the direction opposite
the normal rotation. Tighten the four cap screws, then
recheck the timing by applying reverse rotational
forceonbothrolls.
NOTE: Figure shows conditioner drive belt and idler
removed for clarity.
