4. Completely loosen the roll pressure tension by
rotating the roll pressure handle, 1, counterclock-
wise until loose.

5. Remove the cap screw, 1, and spacer that
connect the roll tension arm straps, 2, to the pivot
arm.
6. Loosen the setscrew and rotate the lock collar, 3,
opposite direction of roll rotation. Remove lock
collar.

7. Support the roll using a suitable lift or floor jack
and appropriate blocking. Remove the pivot nut,
1, and bolt at the rear of the pivot plate, and swing
plate downwards so that it is clear of the pivot
mount. Slide the pivot plate and bearing off the
end of the roll.
NOTE: The top rear bolt that retains the right side
lower conditioner roll bearing is removable to allow
removal of the upper roll right side pivot arm.
