4. Grip the left side torsion bar tightly. Use a pair of
locking pliers to shift the torsion rod out of the
center adjusting tube and the tension arm. It may
be necessary to apply penetrating fluid to loosen
the hex ends of the torsion arms, 1.

5. The left side tension arm may now be removed.
Remove the snap ring, 1, and washer, 2, on the
inner end of the tension arm hub, and slide the
tension arm out of the header frame. If the
bushing in the header frame is worn or galled,
use a hammer and punch to drive the bushing out
of the header frame.
