3. Slide the washer, 1, against the swathgate
quadrant bracket, and drive a groove pin, 2,
through the adjusting tube to secure it in position.
Drive the roll pin slowly to ensure it exits through
the hole in the opposite side of the adjusting tube.

4. Swing the retaining clip up over the end of the
torsion bar and tighten the cap screw, 1. Lift the
tension arm up until the tension straps, 2, are
aligned with the bushing in the upper roll pivot
arm. Install the cap screw and tighten securely.

5. Attach the adjusting handle assembly to the
adjusting tube by inserting the pivot nut, 1,
between the straps on the tube so that it engages
in the holes. Install the cap screw and locknut, 2,
and tighten the locknut to draw the straps up
enough to capture the pivot nut.
