Setting up the Common Interface: CI Components
To Set up the CI Components for the Common Interface
Proceed as follows to set up the CI components:
1. From the user interface of the D9854, click the Setup tab, expand Common
Interface, and then click the CI Components icon from the sub-page.
2. If you selected Comp as the Decryption Mode in the Common Interface Setup
page, you can insert and maintain customized records in the CI Component
Setup page. Each record customizes the PID or stream type to decrypt. The
Index number is a read only field that indicates the record number. You can
maintain up to 64 records, 32 records for each CAM.
3. To insert a new record, click Add. A new row appears at the top of the table (see
below).
