PT Fuel Pump Lower (Automotive)
Throttle Lever is Not Locked Wide
Open

Make sure the lower lever linkage opens
the throttle wide open. Refer to Procedure
5-02.

PT Fuel Pump Variable Speed Governor
Linkage is Not Fully Open or is Set to Idle

Adjust the throttle linkage. Refer to

PT Fuel Pump Low Speed Set Screw is
Out of Adjustment

Loosen lock nut and adjust the rear screw.
Refer to Procedure 5-05 and the PT Fuel

PT Fuel Pump High Speed Spring is Incorrect

Remove PT fuel pump and change the
spring. Refer to Procedure 5-02 and the PT
