Install the intake air connector and tighten the four cap-
screws.
Install the intake air piping from the CAC to the air con-
nector on the intake manifold and tighten the clamp.
Torque Values:
• Intake air connector 34 N•m [25 ft-lb]
• Clamp 8.5 N•m [75 in-lb]
Install all CompuchekT sensors.
On CELECT™ engines, install the intake manifold tem-
perature and pressure sensors.
• Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor 34 N•m [25 ft-lb]
• Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor 30 N•m [22 ft-lb]
• Intake Manifold CompuchekT Sensor (Pressure) 1.4
N•m [115 in-lb]

Pressure Drop - Checking
Preferred Method
Measure the CAC system pressure drop with a mercury
manometer.
Install one end of the manometer to the 1/8 inch pipe tap
in the turbocharger compressor outlet elbow.
