Install and adjust water pump belt. Refer to Procedure
1-25.
NOTE: Belt tension can increase when the locknut is
tightened.
Fill the engine with Heavy Duty Coolant. Refer to Pro-
cedure 1-09. Start the engine, and check for leaks.
Coolant Filter Head Insert (1-28)
Removal
The valve is in the ‘‘OFF’’ position when the valve is in
the horizontal position.
Close the manual shutoff valve.
Remove the coolant filter. Refer to Procedure 1-06.
Remove the coolant filter head insert.
