Tighten Mounting Hardware
The front-loading mounting hardware used to assemble the mounting
structure and mount the equipment should not become lose if properly
tightened. This is a safety check recommended for harsh environments
where vibration may be a problem.
1. Check all structure, camera, mirror and RangeFinder mounting
hardware. Tighten as necessary. Do not over-tighten. Be sure not to
disturb the alignment of the RangeFinder or any mirrors also mounted to
the same structure.
2. Check the mounting hardware of other devices. Tighten as necessary.
Do not over-tighten.
Checking Connections
All wiring connections to the AV6010 Camera(s) and RangeFinder are made
through the connector panels. This is a safety check recommended for harsh
environments where vibration may be a problem. (Reference Chapter 4,
Electrical Installation.)
1. Check all wiring connections to the camera. Tighten as necessary.
Do not over-tighten.
2. Check all cabling for signs of wear/damage. Repair/replace any
damaged cable connections as necessary.
3. Check all cabling used with optional devices (e.g, monitor, keyboard,
etc.) to assure they will function properly when they are needed.
Verify Operation
Follow the procedure defined in Chapter 6, Operations Checklist.
