First-Time Setup Checklist
Basic Setup
1. Confirm that all equipment is mechanically and electrically installed
properly. (See Chapters 3 and 4.)
2. Unlock camera head and align the mirror.
(In multi-camera tunnels, confirm the power switch is ON.)
3. Level RangeFinder and block codewords if the application is using
a narrow belt (under 40-inches).
4. Follow the first-time startup procedure.
5. Establish a connection and login to the system.
6. System Configuration
Assign system name and positions of each camera in the system.
7. Tach Configuration
Confirm that the tachometer settings are correct.
8. Focus and Package Info
Specify how the system is configured.
9. Mounting (RangeFinder and Camera(s))
For first-time setup, use the AV6010 Install Wizard to auto calibrate
the system. Use these windows to make adjustments as necessary.

14. Install Wizard > RangeFinder Wizard
15. Install Wizard > Camera Wizards
Based on the application, this may involve performing the Static Focus
Calibration for up to six cameras positioned in a scanning array or
tunnel.
16. Dynamic Focus Calibration of all cameras using Image Viewer
17. Dimensioning Calibration (option)
18. Side-by-Side Package Detection Calibration (option)
