Communications Transmit Point
Use this window to set the transmit point for your application. In multiple
camera / tunnel applications, each camera may have a unique transmit point
setting.
Prerequisites: You will need to know the serial communications details:
Baud rate, stop bits, parity, data bits, flow control,
transmit message type and
keep alive message.
NOTE: In applications using the VisionCapture / Image Depot Server
(IDS), the transmit points for all cameras need to be greater than the
Image Transfer transmit point.
The transmit point is always measured from the RangeFinder, even in
applications that also include a photoeye.
To set the Transmit Point:
1. Select Setup > Communications > (Camera) > Transmit Point from
the menu tree.
The Transmit Point window is displayed.
2. Select a Tracking Mode.
a. Trailing Edge
b. Leading Edge
3. Set the Distance to Transmit Point (in inches).
4. Click Update to save any changes.
5. Click Reset to return all parameters to the last values saved.
