Photoeye Wizard
This wizard is used to setup a photoeye as the package detection / trigger
source for the camera system.
Prerequisites:
Photoeye must be installed at the correct location a minimum of 6.0
inches [152 mm] upstream from the RangeFinder or light curtain.
(See the installation drawings provided with the system.)
Photoeye must be set as the package detection trigger on the Focus
and Detection page of the AV6010 User Interface

To setup the photoeye:
1. Click the Photoeye Wizard button.
2. Measure the distance from the photoeye to the scan line of the focus
source (either RangeFinder or light curtain). Enter this measurement in
the ‘D: Photoeye to Focus Source Distance’ field.
3. Enter the Photoeye Debounce Distance.
This distance should always be a positive value and less than the
distance to scan line (D). It is recommended that the difference between
these two distances be at least 5.0 inches.
4. Set the Photoeye Active Level either Low or High depending on the
photoeye used. (The default is preset to Active Low for the Accu-Sort
photoeye.)
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish to save the photoeye position information to the camera
system. Wait until the System Parameters Update is completed.
7. Continue with the Camera wizard(s).
NOTE: It is recommended that these numbers not be changed.
