Certification Inspection and Sealing
The AccuVision AV6010 Long-Range Camera System with in-camera
dimensioning is certified for singulated applications (i.e., for dimensioning
non-touching packages). Any AV6010 top-read camera used in legal-for-
trade applications must be “sealed” to prevent unauthorized access to
metrologically significant parameters and physical movement of the unit.

The AV6010 RangeFinder and AV6010 with in-camera dimensioning are
Category 3 devices with an “audit trail” and the ability to detect a non-zero
condition (i.e., movement of the conveyor with respect to the AV6010). As
such, it does not require any type of sealing. Information about the audit trail
is provided earlier in Appendix G (pg. G-6).
The approval specifications for AV6010 with in-camera dimensioning are
shown on labels attached to the underside of the top-read camera’s DCM
and also on the mounting structure.
The NCWM (NTEP) and Measurement Canada specifications are shown in
Figure G-12.
The OIML\MID\WELMEC specifications are shown in Figure G-13.
