Diagnostics
A skilled technician can also use the AV6010 user interface application to
perform specific diagnostics functions.
Use the Diagnostics available from the user interface to check the following:
System Status
Images
RangeFinder Status
Camera Status
Tools
A list of the error codes mentioned on the status screen is provided in
Appendix F.
System Status
Use the System Status screen to view diagnostics information on the entire
AV6010 camera system. Every device connected to the SYNC network
appears on this monitor screen. Under the Device column, there are
clickable links that open a status page specific to the device.
Images
Use the Images screen to view the images from each camera in the system.
For example, if your AV6010 application uses three cameras to read the top
and sides of products, three image thumbnails will be displayed on this
screen.
RangeFinder Status
Use the RangeFinder Status screen to view diagnostics information related
specifically to RangeFinder operations. This information will identify such
things as the box index number, height, and left/right position on the
conveyor.
Camera Status
Use the Camera Status screen to view diagnostics information related
specifically to a single camera’s operations including the box index number
and the bar codes that were read by the camera.
In multiple-camera systems, there is a camera status screen for every
camera connected to the SYNC network.
NOTE: To view individual camera images, go to the Diagnostics >
(Camera Position) > Image screen for the AV6010 you wish to monitor.
