RangeFinder Mounting
Use the RangeFinder Mounting window to make adjustments the orientation,
mounting position and front/back box tracking extensions.
NOTE: It is recommended that the AV6010 Install Wizard be used to set
these parameters the first time. Through a series of setup wizards, you
can ‘teach’ the system key parameters which results in auto calibration.
The RangeFinder Mounting window can be used to adjust the dimensions
as necessary to improve system performance.
Prerequisites:
The AV6010 Install Wizard should be downloaded and installed on your
computer.
Use the RangeFinder Wizard to auto-calibrate these configuration
settings.
To set the RangeFinder Mounting configuration:
1. Select Setup > Mounting > RangeFinder from the menu tree. Select
the camera position that you want to configure (e.g., front, top, back,
etc.). The window for the selected camera position is displayed.
2. Enter the Mounting Angles (roll, pitch and yaw).
3. Enter the Mounting Position (along belt, across belt and height).
4. Enter the RangeFinder Ignore Limits (left and right).
5. Enter the RangeFinder Settings as required by the application.
6. Click Update to save any changes.
7. Click Reset to return all parameters to the last values saved.
