AV6010 Installation Wizards
Icon Wizard Description
RangeFinder
Use to calibrate the RangeFinder’s height above conveyor
surface and region of interest.
Photoeye
In fixed focus applications, use the wizard to enter the distance
from the photoeye to where the camera’s scanline meets the
conveyor. If the photoeye is used in conjunction with a light
curtain or RangeFinder, use the wizard to enter the distance from
the photoeye to the light curtain or RangeFinder.
Light Curtain
Use to set the offset from the surface of the conveyor to the
bottom of the light curtain’s LED array.
Front Camera
Use with cameras that will only be reading codes on the front of
products as the pass through the scanning area. Calibrates key
dimensions/angle used to control camera focusing.
Top
Camera
Use with cameras that will only be reading codes on the top of
products as the pass through the scanning area. Calibrates key
dimensions/angle used to control camera focusing.
Back
Camera
Use with cameras that will only be reading codes on the back of
products as the pass through the scanning area. Calibrates key
dimensions/angle used to control camera focusing.
Left
Camera
Use with cameras reading codes on the left side of products.
Calibrates near, far and focus distance.
Right Camera
Use with cameras reading codes on the right side of products.
Calibrates near, far and focus distance.
Bottom
Camera
Use to calibrate a camera installed to read the bottoms of
packages.
Tunnel
Use to confirm proper calibration of all devices in the system by
running the conveyor and sending the calibration boxes through
the scanning area. (Future functionality.)
Verify
Use after all system calibration is complete, including the Tunnel
wizard, to verify proper operation with actual product to be
scanned by the system. (Future functionality.)
