Prerequisites:
Calibration box (12-inch cubic box, plywood recommended)
IQA test targets
Camera system connected to FAST Monitor
IMPORTANT: The IQA target bar codes supplied by Accu-Sort have
unique serialization and should not be reproduced. Plywood calibration
boxes are also available from Accu-Sort. For additional targets or plywood
calibration boxes, contact your Accu-Sort sales or service representative at
1-800-BAR-CODE.
To test a camera's image quality with IQA:
1. Affix the 8-inch square targets (supplied by Accu-Sort) to a 12-inch cubic
box (plywood recommended). The targets should be:
a. Centered in the box faces.
b. One IQA target per box face.
2. During a non-sort period, manually induct the IQA calibration box into the
tunnel keeping the box skew to less than 10 degrees.
3. The camera(s) will read the IQA target(s) and return performance data to
FAST Monitor.
