Startup DC braking is valid only for direct start (P1.00 = 0). In this case, the AC drive
performs DC braking at the set startup DC braking current. After the startup DC braking
time, the AC drive starts to run. If the startup DC braking time is 0, the AC drive starts
directly without DC braking. The larger the startup DC braking current is, the larger the
braking force is.
If the startup mode is pre-excited start (P1.00= 1), the AC drive builds magnetic field based
on the set pre-excited current. After the pre-excited time, the AC drive starts to run. If the
pre-excited time is 0, the AC drive starts directly without pre-excitation.
NOTE
The startup DC braking current or pre-ex
cited current is a percentage relative
to the base value.
P1.05
Stop mode
Setting Range01 0
0Decelerate to stop
After the stop command is enabled, the AC drive decreases the output frequency according
to the deceleration time and stops when the frequency decreases to zero.
1Coast to stop
After the stop command is enabled, the AC drive immediately
stops the output. The motor will coast to stop based on the
mechanical inertia.
