Establish a remote connection
Once you have configured the router, there are several ways to establish a link to a remote system:
n Use the ATD command to make an outgoing V.120 call. See atd: Dial a call.
n Initiate a DUN session to establish a dial-up PPP connection.
n Make an outgoing X.25 call using the ATD command followed by the X.28 CALL command.
n Make an outgoing TPAD (Transaction PAD) call using the TPAD a (address) command followed
by the appropriate NUA. This is normally only carried out under software control.
Similarly, incoming calls are handled according to the protocols bound to the ASY ports, and whether
answering is enabled for each protocol.
