Configure Digi Remote Manager

1. Go to Configuration > Remote Management.
2. Set the following values:
Enable Remote Management using a client-initiated connection
Displays the basic configuration parameters and enables the router to make the connection to
the Remote Manager server.
DNS Resolve Server Address only when a default route is UP
Sets DNS to resolve the server address when a default route is up only.
Server Address
The IP address or (more usually) the domain name of the Remote Manager host. This
information will be supplied when your Remote Manager account is activated.
Automatically reconnect to the server after being disconnected
The protocol for communicating with the server allows the router to detect that it is no longer
connected to the server. Enabling this setting causes the router to attempt to reconnect when
it discovers the connection has been lost.
Reconnect after h hours m minutes s seconds
The interval to wait before attempting to reconnect to the server.
Password/Confirm password
The authentication password for connecting to the server.
Use SSL
Enables or disables use of SSLon the remote management connection.
3. Click Apply.
