Set temperature monitoring
You can monitor the temperature of some of the components on the TransPort router in real time.
The temperature is monitored through the Digi Remote Manager health metrics. You can configure
the router to power off device subsystems when various components exceed a temperature limit. For

1. Enable health metrics to display in the Digi Remote Manager health monitor. See Enable device
health reporting.
2. Go to Configuration > System > Temperature Monitoring. Configure these settings:
Power off subsystems when motherboard above operating temperature
limit
Displayed for Digi TransPort model WR44v2 only. Enables automatic shutdown of various
subsystems when the mainboard temperature sensor indicates that the motherboard is
operating above its normal temperature range.
Power off modem RF when module above operating temperature limit
Enables automatic shutdown of the cellular modem’s RF interface when the cellular modem’s
temperature sensor indicates that the modem is operating above its normal temperature
range.
3. Click Apply.
