Using the reset button on the router
Most TransPort routers have a reset button.
n TransPort WR11: The reset button is on the far right of the front side panel. See TransPort
WR11 hardware features.
n TransPort WR21: The reset button is on the front panel, to the right of the Signal LEDs. See
TransPort WR21 hardware features.
n TransPort WR31: The reset button is above the USB connector. See TransPort WR31 hardware
features.
n TransPortWR41: The reset button is on the underside of the unit. See TransPort WR41
hardware features.
n TransPort WR44: The reset button is on the underside of the unit. See TransPort WR44 / WR44
R hardware features.
n TransPort WR44 RR does not have a physical reset button.
To reset the router to factory defaults:
1. If the router is not already on, turn the router on and wait 15 seconds for the router to
complete its initialization process.
2. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. The router's LEDs will flash to indicate a factory
reset is in progress. Once the reset is complete, the router automatically reboots.
CAUTION! To avoid corrupting flash memory, do not remove power from the router
during this operation.
