The [version] firewall script field specifies the IP version to which the rule applies. Allowed values are
ipv4 and ipv6.
Match IPv4 packets only
To match on IPv4 packets only, use the ipv4 keyword:
pass i n br eak end on et h 1 i pv4
Match IPv6 packets only
To match on IPv6 packets only, use the ipv6 keyword:
pass i n br eak end on et h 1 i pv6
The firewall parser ensures that any tokens implying one IP version (such as an IP address) are not
mixed with tokens that imply the other version. For example, this means it is not legal to mix the ipv6
keyword with an IPv4 IP address. If a rule does not specify any keywords that are IP version specific,
the rule applies to both IP versions. For example, the following rule allows both IPv4 and IPv6 packets
to pass on interface eth 0:
pass br eak end on et h 0
