n To disable serial devices from using either external USB port on a DR64x0, or on a port
connected to a hub on either these ports:
usbcon 0 di sl i st " usb- 1- 2* . SERI AL, usb- 2- 2* . SERI AL"
or
usbcon 0 di sl i st usb- ?- 2* . SERI AL
n The enalist takes the same format, but when matches occur, it enables the device. If a device
matches the enable list as well as the disable list, the enable list takes preference. When a
device matches a list an event is written to the event log of the form:
" USB devi ce usb- 1- 2. 4. MSD di sabl ed"
or, if the device matches the enalist:
USB devi ce usb- 1- 2. 4. MSD enabl ed"
n You can use these events to debug the correct matching string to match on when trying to
configure these parameters.
n If both lists are left blank, all drivers are enabled and no extra events appear in the event log.
