18.4 Setting the toothed belt tension
Use a commonly available frequency meter (60Hz) to set the toothed belt
tension.
Information
If too loose or too tight, the set tension of the toothed belt can cause
the transport clamp to experience step or position losses.

To set the toothed belt tension:
1. Set the transport carriage to the loading position by sliding it all
the way to the front.
2. Loosen the screws (1).
3. Remove toothed belt cover (5).
4. Loosen the screws (2).
5. Tension the toothed belt (4) using the screw (3).
6. Measure the toothed belt tension in the middle of the toothed belt.
The toothed belt tension is 60 Hz.
