26.5 Driver zipper
The driver zipper fixes the zipper in place at the seam beginning to keep
it from slipping while being sewn on.
26.5.1 Setting the distance between the driver zipper and the needles
Proper setting
The distance between the driver zipper and the needles is 3 mm.
The driver zipper is situated 2 mm below the needle tips.

To set the distance between the driver zipper and the needles:
1. Loosen the screws (5).
2. Put away the holder (4) with spring (3).
3. Loosen the screws (1).
