14 Needle thread advancing device
14.1 Adjusting the needle thread quantity

Proper setting
The needle thread advancing device (4) pulls a certain amount of needle
thread out of the open thread tensioner. The amount of advanced needle
thread must be large enough the meet the following conditions:
• when sewing begins, the needles moving downward must not pull
the needle threads out of the needle thread clamp
• at the same time, the stitches need to be tight when sewing begins
To set the needle thread advancing device:
1. Loosen screws (1) and (2).
2. Turn the holder (3).
• To set a larger amount of needle thread: Turn the holder (3) down
in the slotted hole
• To set a smaller amount of needle thread: Turn the holder (3) up
in the slotted hole
3. Tighten screws (1) and (2).
