19.6 Setting the transport clamp pressure
19.6.1 Setting the transport clamp pressure manually

Information
The downforce pressure for the transport clamps can be set depending
on the type and thickness of the material.
To set the transport clamp pressure:
1. Pull up and turn the pressure controller (1) to adjust the downforce
pressure of the transport clamps.
The default setting is 0.5 Mpa = approx. 5 bar.
• Increase pressure: turn clockwise
• Reduce pressure: turn counterclockwise
 The pressure is indicated at the pressure gage (2).
2. Push the pressure controller (1) down.
Important
If adjusted by motorized transport clamp quick adjustment, the trans-
port clamp pressure must not exceed 4 bar.
The safe transport of the sewing material needs to be ensured at all times.
3. Open the menu Program parameters > Process of transport
clamp > Select process of transport clamp and select the
desired mode ( p. 334).
