6.2 Switchable needle bar (class 756)
6.2.1 Aligning the needle bars with the throat plate
Proper setting
The needles plunge into the center of the holes on the throat plate.

To set the needle bars sideways:
1. Disconnect the compressed air supply.
2. Remove the arm cover.
3. Remove the head cover.
4. Loosen the screw (3).
5. Loosen the screws (2) on the adjusting rings.
6. Loosen the screws (1) on the crank pin.
7. Manually position the gear tongues (4) so that they are parallel.
