When at the bottom dead center, the front edge (10) of the middle
knife (4) must jut out approx. 1 mm above the cutting edge of the
stationary knife in the throat plate.
11. Open the menu Service > Machine test > Test middle
knife to test the individual settings and make any adjustments
necessary ( p. 390).
When the reference run is complete, the middle knife guard (3) must
be 1 mm lower than the middle knife (4).
12. If the middle knife guard (3) is not at the right height, loosen the
screw (1) and set the middle knife guard (3).
