3.15.5 Changing the Message Age Expiry Time
To change the maximum time between protocol information being received and discarded:
1. Select Device Setup or Stack Setup.
2. Click Spanning Tree.
3. Click Message Age Timer Expiry.
4. Type the required number of seconds.
5. Click OK.
3.15.6 Changing the Hello Expiry Time
To change the time between transmissions of configuration BPDUs from a switch that is, or
attempting to become, the root:
1. Select Device Setup or Stack Setup.
2. Click Spanning Tree.
3. Click Hello Timer Expiry.
4. Type the required number of seconds.
5. Click OK.
