5.14 DNS IP Conversion Tool
5.14.1 Using the DNS IP Tool
DNS names are resolved by a DNS server or a Hosts file. The station running FORE Stack
View must be configured to use the DNS server when a Hosts file is not used. To convert DNS
names to IP addresses:
1. Type in the DNS name.
2. Click Convert.
3. The IP address is displayed.
4. Click Close.
