Managing the Switch
• Troubleshooting shows:

- A log of errors due to software and hardware failures
- How to overcome the limitations that exist in some management applications
(RMON)
- The option to reset all the counters being used for diagnostic purposes
- VLAN Forced Release
• Software Update lets you:
- Load new software to the switch
- Reset the switch if necessary
- Monitor the software status
