Connect the following cables to the system board:
1 Front panel cable to connector "FRONTPANEL1"
2 Front USB3.0 cable to connector "USB3.0 FRONT

If applicable, connect the ODD SATA cable to connector "SATA ODD" on the
system board.

If applicable, connect the ODD power cable to connector X17 on the
backplane, see "Connecting a 2.5-inch HDD backplane" on page 188.

If applicable, install the expansion card in slot 4, see "Installing an
expansion card" on page 229.
▶
If applicable, connect the cables to the LTO drive, see "Connecting the LTO-
drive" on page 325.
▶
If applicable, connect the cables to the RDX drive, see "Connecting the
RDX-drive" on page 336.

Carefully push the front panel module into its bay and ensure that the
locking mechanism snaps in (see circle in Figure 229 or Figure 230).
CAUTION

Ensure that none of the cables are strained or damaged!
The locking mechanism differs for the installations with LTO drives
because the drive needs more place, so that an other locking recess
point is needed.
