- Lubricate the external surface of the tip with petroleum jelly grease.
N.B.
LUBRICATE THE BUSHINGS WITH ENGINE OIL BEFORE FITTING THE CRANKSHAFT.
CAUTION
FIT THE TRANSMISSION-SIDE TIMING CHAIN.
FIT THE DRIVE CHAIN BEFORE THE CRANKSHAFT.
- Fit the crankshaft with the driving pulley shaft in-
side the transmission-side crankcase half.
CAUTION
PLACE THE CONNECTING RODS PROPERLY.
- Simultaneously hold the crankshaft with one
hand and the tip with the other until the crankshaft
stops on the crankcase half.
- Remove the tip.
