Laser and Optical Connectors
Do not look into optical connectors. Invisible laser
light emitted from optical sources can cause
permanent eye injury.
Do not touch the optical connector face with your
fingers.
Simultaneous Replacement of Modules
Do not replace two or more of the following
modules simultaneously.
• SPU Controller
• Transmitter Assembly A1
• Power Supply A1
Change one module, wait until the system reboots, and then change another
module and reboot.
“Card(s) Not Updated” Minor Alarm
Installing a replacement card may result in “Card(s) Not Updated” minor alarm
if the replacement card has an outdated software version. Refer to
Chapter 10,
“Glossary of Alarms”,
page 10-7, for corrective action.
