LOAD/SAVE RESTORE display targets
The command targets at the bottom of the display in Figure 110 perform the functions defined in the
following table.

Loads the on-process (regular) personality program and the
selected database to the chosen HPMM. If the primary
HPMM is chosen, the database is also restored in all IOPs
that are in the Idle state. The command is executed by
selecting the ENTER target.
Restores the database in the chosen HPMM or IOP. The
module must be in the Idle state (not valid for the secondary
HPMM). The command is executed by selecting the ENTER
target.
Restores the database in the chosen HPMM and all IOPs.
The modules must be in the Idle state. The command is
executed by selecting the ENTER target.
Saves the database from the chosen HPMM and all IOPs
into either the History Module or removable media. This is
sometimes called “Checkpointing.” The command is
executed by selecting the ENTER target.
Loads the I/O Simulator personality and selected database
to the chosen HPMM. If the primary HPMM is chosen, the
database is also restored in all simulated IOPs that are in
the Idle state. The command is executed by selecting the
ENTER target.
Clears the PROGRAM LOAD, RESTORE MODULE,
RESTORE ALL, SAVE ALL, and ENTER command targets
from the display.
Executes the LOAD/SAVE RESTORE function command.
