Bottom of display
The information at the bottom of the IOP Detail Status display varies. It is dependent on the IOP type.
For example, in Figure 143, “CALIBRATION NOT PERMITTED, MODULE NOT IN IDLE” appears
for the HLAI IOP.
IOP configuration
The first line of the display indicates the IOP type (HLAI, LLAI, DI, etc.), primary or secondary HPMM
(PRIMARY or SECONDARY) or Non-redundant, and whether the IOP is configured as A or B
(IOM_A or IOM_B).
The remaining information in this area is defined in the following table. The status in this area is updated
every 4 seconds.

Description
UCN
The network number.
HPM
The HPM address on the UCN.
MODULE
The “soft” (logical) address of the IOP in the HPM configuration
(1-40).
PHYS ADDR
The hardware address of the IOP on the I/O Link.
FILE
The card file position of the IOP in the HPM.
CARD
The slot position of the IOP in the card file.
STS
The current status of the IOP
(SOFTFAIL, OK, IDLE, IDLESF, NR).
ACTUAL TYPE
The IOP type read from the IOP
(HLAI, LLAI, DI, DO, DO_32, LLMux, RHMUX, STIM, STI, PI,
SDI, SI, AO, or AO_32).
FTA CONNECT
The connector on the FTA that is in use
(CONN_A or CONN_B).
WITH BIAS
Is the acting primary IOP the preferred IOP (YES or NO)?
HARDWARE REV
A hexadecimal byte that shows the current revision of the IOP
hardware.
FIRMWARE REV
Two hexadecimal digits in the form “x.x” that shows the current
firmware revision.
LAST HARD
FAILURE
The last Hard failure detected by the IOP. The mnemonic in this
field serves as an entry into Table 61 in the “Fault Isolation”
section.
DESCRIPTION
If the IOP is a “High Density” IOP, such as a model MU-PDIY22
IOP, a description of the associated FTA will be included. Two
types of FTA can be connected to the IOP (24 V or 240 V).
