16-channel AO IOP display
The following figure is an illustration of the 16-channel Analog Output IOP display.
Figure 162 16-Channel Analog Output IOP Detail Status Display
REQUEST FAILOPT target
Selection of the REQUEST FAILOPT target, as shown in Figure 161 and Figure 162, causes the
display to access the current state of the IOP’s failure option, parameter FAILOPT.
NULL, HOLD, and UNPOWER targets
When the target is selected, it is replaced with three targets showing the possible failure option states,
NULL, HOLD and UNPOWER, with the current state in reverse video. If the Universal Station
keyswitch is in the ENGineer position, the state may be changed to HOLD or UNPOWER, by selecting
the desired target. Any other IOP state, or any other keyswitch position, or selection of the NULL target
will result in an error message.
Idle or OK state
If the IOP is in the Idle or OK state and the Universal Station keyswitch is in the ENGineer position, the
failure option can be changed to HOLD or UNPOWER, by selecting the appropriate target. Any other
IOP state, any other keyswitch position, or selection of the NULL target will result in an error message.
NULL target
The NULL failure option can be selected only by placing the IOP in the Idle state, reconstituting the
HPM box configuration, selecting the NULL failure state, and then reloading.
