Configure the MESSAGE MIX parameter by selecting one of the three targets
TYPE 1 Send only Type 1 messages. These are unacknowledged unconnected
messages.
TYPE 3 Send only Type 3 messages. These are acknowledged messages.
BOTH Send both Type 1 and Type 3 messages.
Figure 196 and Figure 197 show TYPE 3 selected.

Configure the PRIORITY parameter by selecting one of two targets.
LOWEST Send messages at the lowest priority.
ALL Send messages at each of four priorities.

Configure the MSGSIZ (MESSAGE SIZE) parameter by selecting one of two targets.
SMALL Send 50 word messages.
SMLRG Send 50 and 100 word messages.

Configure the end time date parameter by selecting the END TIME target and entering
the date in the format shown. Press <ENTER>. Enter the time parameter in the format
shown and press <ENTER>.

Select the STRT (START) target followed by the EXEC (EXECUTE) target to start the
test. The EXEC target appears to the right of the ENDCYC (END CYCLE) target when
the STRT target has been selected.
There are five commands shown in Figures Figure 196 and Figure 197. To execute the
chosen command, the EXEC target must also be selected. The following commands
are available.
STRT Starts the RDR and Triangulation test.
RESET CONFG Resets the configuration to off for all nodes.
RESET STATS Resets the statistics to zero.
IMED ABRT Aborts the test wherever it is in the procedure.
ENDCYC ABRT Aborts the test at the end of the current test cycle.

Select the TEST OVRVW (TEST OVERVIEW) target to return to the UCN Exerciser
Overview display. See Figure 196 and Figure 197 . Wait for the test to complete. The
NOTRUNNG (NOT RUNNING) status appears on the UCN Exerciser Overview display
as shown in Figure 193.
