calibration is successful then the caption “OFC is done” appears in the
“Mode” field (see Fig. 10.25).
If calibration was successful then new value of the pulse length is used for
odometer data. This value will be written to the INS flash memory after INS
receives “Stop” command by clicking on the button. You can check
calculated value of the pulse length in “Devices option”, “External sensors”
tab (see Fig. 4.13).
Note you can continue run of the INS after the odometer calibration, without
INS stop. Also, during INS run you can perform new odometer calibration
several times without INS stop, without vehicle stop. The last calculated
pulse length will be written to the INS flash memory after INS stop.
10.8. Operations with CAN data
Since firmware version 3.2.6.5 AHRS-II can output CAN2.0A messages
through built-in CAN. Since firmware version 3.2.8.1 CAN2.0B messages
are provided too, and possibility of choosing CAN messages is implemented
as well. Full configuration of CAN settings is provided by The Inertial Labs
TM
INS GUI since version 2.0.47.308 from 2019-02-20.
To configure output of CAN messages, use “CAN / COM4” tab of “Devices
options” window (see Fig. 10.26).
