After choice of INS data types for output at the “User Defined Data” format,
press "Write to device" button to write this configuration to the INS unit. If
the operation is successful, the following message appears (Fig. 4.30):

In this case do the next:
Check settings of the device connection (serial port number, baud rate);
Check INS firmware version – it should be no earlier than 3.2.4.0 to
support the “User defined data” format.
4.6.1. Review and editing of the existing configuration of the
“User defined data” format in INS unit
Click "Read from device" button (Fig. 4.28) to subtract the current
configuration of the “User defined data” format from the INS unit. If the
operation is successful, the following message appears (Fig. 4.32):
