11 Press OK on the System Properties window. (See Figure 5-13.)

12 The newly added HAPSITE icon will now appear at the bottom of the System
Setup screen. If HAPSITE is displayed, as seen in Figure 5-14, then
communications have been established.

12a If the HAPSITE icon is overlaid with a gray “X”, HAPSITE is not trying to
communicate with the computer.

12b If the HAPSITE icon is overlaid with a red “X”, HAPSITE is not properly
communicating with the laptop. (See Figure 5-16.) For example, the
cross-over cable is disconnected.
